Show and tell: Binoculars and handmade dobsoniaN telescope
Binoculars and telescopes each have their place for a comprehensive coverage of the astronomical wonders presented in the night sky. At this show and tell, we will cover both!
Do you have a favorite pair of binoculars? Bring them in to show off and tell us what you like about them and what you have seen through them. If you don't have binoculars, this is a good chance to learn about why you should! We will also use them to take a closer look at the moon on this night if the skies smile upon us.
Another special feature of the night will be a show and tell by Peter Hess, who is bringing in his handmade 16" Dobsonian telescope (picture shown). We hope to see you there!
